DoubleTree by Hilton Jeddah is a contemporary hospitality and residential destination located near King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Square, overlooking the Red Sea. Conceived as a new landmark for Jeddah, the 34-storey development comprises 248 hotel rooms and 207 serviced apartments, alongside meeting facilities, a ballroom, outdoor pool, dining venues, gym, and children’s play areas.

DSA were appointed as Lead Consultant and Design Architect to undertake multidisciplinary design services for the development. The design responds to Jeddah’s prominent coastal setting and key city vistas, including views towards the Jeddah Flag, King Fahd Fountain, and the Red Sea. A minimalist architectural language combines simple geometric forms with rich façade detailing and patterns that respond to the rhythm of the accommodation modules.

A distinctive inverted L-shaped volume, framed in white, forms the architectural identity of the building, with integrated façade lighting designed to emphasise its massing and presence within the city skyline. The design also adopts a considered approach to environmental performance, balancing thermal comfort, robust design solutions, and energy efficiency to support the building’s long-term operation and sustainability.
